Fujian Inspection and Research Institute for Product Quality—FCII was founded in 1964 and is one of the earliest provincial testing institutes achieved national accreditation in China. As a comprehensive and large-scale organization, FCII has earned high reputation and its capacity is the top of China.
       FCII’s floor area is around 20,000 square meters and has more than 6,000 sets of equipments. FCII’s capital asserts is more than one billion RMB and has more than 100,000 copies of national and international standards. FCII has more than 300 employees of which 60% is junior or senior engineers. FCII has a group of technical staff familiar with standards, products, technology, test, and quality management. FCII also has more than 100 national registered auditors and assessors for quality management system, factory-inspection, environment management system, and professional health and security management system and laboratory assessment.
       At present, FCII has achieved more than 2600 accreditation items of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and can do test on more than 2,000 types of products, including electronic products, communication products, electric apparatus, mechanical products, metallurgy, electrical motors, chemical products, plastic and rubber products, construction materials, leather products, light industrial products, foods, decoration materials, fire fighting equipments, security and guard devices, medical treatment appliances, etc.   Furthermore, FCII can do environmental test on electronic and electrical products, do EMC test, do test on fire fighting project and alarm system, do test on intelligent zed building system, do non-destruction test on bridge and architecture, do test on indoor air’s quality, and do security test on computer rooms, etc. 
       FCII is willing to provide society with one-stop service including test, certification, cargo inspection, training, consultation, formulation and amendment of standards, quality identification, failure and invalidation analysis, and loss evaluation.
